Oculis Magnis [Big Eyes] is featuring a young owl of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco that I "ran into" over 4 months ago when on one of my walks. My very first encounter with the owl parents and their two young offsprings was a moment when I witnessed the owlets take a flying lesson. Ever since, I have been a regular visitor to the owls' kingdom and they very patiently and graciously let me be part of their reality a few hours a day, and watch them in a close proximity.
Some called them marvelous, Some called them fantastic, or even supernatural. Under those new conditions, a new landscape has been formed. A scenery with a strong peaceful hypnotic quality to sooth and remind a viewer of the life/death transition.
