IS means ICE in Icelandic.

IS is another video installation from the series Retreating that I have been working on during my artist residency at SIM in Reykjavik. This video collage was composed out of photos I took on both my walks and trips around Iceland. The sound of birds was recorded at a cemetery in Reykjavik and later edited.
