Silence. How can it be defined in the 21st century? How can we experience it today when there are so many things competing for and demanding our attention? Does silence mean shutting out our surroundings? Is that even possible? This series is a visual investigation into the concept of silence from a perspective of a busy person constantly moving through urban landscapes and, yet, making a conscious effort to slow down, observe and contemplate. Consequently, nuances and subtleties are discovered and new ways of thinking are unlocked.
